Haydar Hussein’s Journey

Haydar Hussein started his own cleaning company in 1989. By 2019, he had grown it into the largest cleaning franchise in the world with over 820 franchisees. His goal was to have around a thousand franchisees by the end of 2019. The annual turnover of his company was in excess of a hundred million dollars.

Haydar’s journey to success was not an easy one. He had to leave his job at Westpac Bank, where he had worked for 10 years, to focus on his cleaning business, which had become a part-time job that soon took over his life.

In 2001, Haydar joined Jim’s Cleaning as a franchisee with a small investment of twenty-five thousand dollars. He was able to scale his business in a well-done manner by evolving every year and surrounding himself with like-minded, energetic people. He is not involved in the day-to-day running of the business, but rather focuses on investigating and planning.

Haydar’s business philosophy is to be a copycat businessman. He believes that if someone has already taken a business journey and made mistakes, discovered innovative ideas, concepts, and systems, why not copy it? This philosophy has helped him in his business journey, and he is proud of it.

Haydar is open to anyone’s ideas, even though he has a massive hundred-million-dollar revenue business. He believes that everyone has great ideas, and it’s just a matter of having the skills to get it out of them. He treats everyone with the same respect that he deserves.

Haydar’s success can be attributed to his ability to find and train like-minded people, such as his CEO, Ali Olmez. He also credits his success to his mindset of being real and not having levels in life. He believes that everyone deserves the same respect.
